Product Description:

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) with an FR4 base material, 2 oz (ounce) copper thickness per layer, and a Lead-Free Hot Air Solder Leveling (LF HASL) surface finish is a common, robust, and high-performance type of circuit board, particularly suited for applications requiring higher current handling or excellent thermal dissipation.


This specific combination of FR4, 2 oz copper, and LF HASL makes the PCB highly suitable for electronic devices that require robust power delivery and thermal management, while remaining cost-sensitive.The key application is as below:

1) Power Electronics and Supplies: The 2 oz copper is ideal for circuits that handle higher currents, such as AC-DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, motor controllers, and power distribution units (PDU). The thicker copper reduces the resistance of the traces, minimizing power loss and heating.

2) General Consumer/Commercial Electronics: For general-purpose electronics where cost is a major factor, but the power or heating requirements exceed the capabilities of a standard 1 oz board, this configuration is an excellent choice. This can include high-power audio amplifiers or industrial computing motherboards.
